"Using images from personal memory and media: illustrations, architecture, movies, television, magazines and comics, he breaks them down until colour and abstraction take over from representation." [Thomas Scheibitz]
n e w s ... “Göz Göze” is the culmination of a three week long workshop organized on Büyükada by three classmates and close friends who graduated from the Slade School of Fine Art in 2008; myself, Nir Segal and Nick Barratt.

“As friends and artists we see eye to eye (göz göze) on what it means to work side by side. This artistic adventure is about distancing from the familiar and reuniting on an island of playful creativity. Göz Göze is the expression of an urgency to look, see, make and show. The intimacy inherent in our title is in fact the very spirit of this rewarding and joyful experience.”
(Göz Göze took place on Büyükada, Istanbul, Turkey in July, 2011)
